i purchased a tri-fuel snorkel kit and installed the natural gas regulator and a hose with a quick disconnect. got it all hooked up and it works great!

now i want to take my generator camping and plan to use propane tanks for fuel.

i have assembled the regulator and installed it on the tank as per the instructions. however, my instruction sheet does not show how to hook the propane to the generator.

do i run a hose from the propane to the natural gas regulator, or do i run it directly to the snorkel?

Hi,

  You should  have a small pressure reducing regulator on your propane tanks (usually silver). That regulator will reduce the pressure from the propane tank down to 0.5 psi or around 14" WC. You will then have a hose that will from that tank regulator to the large demand regulator that comes in the kit. The large regulator (KN) regulates the amount of fuel that goes into the carburetor, it also will shutoff the fuel when the engine shuts down.

yes i do have the small regulator. is there a specific part number i should order for the hose?
